1 cup pesarpappu or Moong Dal
¼ cup Beyyam or Rice
Pachi Mirchi or Green Chill
Allam or Ginger
Coriander or Kothimir for garnishing
Recipe In English:
Soak pesarpappu and rice for 5 6 hours and while grinding add chopped allam (ginger) and green chillis grind it into paste.
Later check batter consistency. The batter should not be very thick nor very watery.
Now make pesarattu like dosa. Remember – we should not cook pesarattu on both sides – else pesarattu will not come crunchy.
Garnish with Chopped Onion and coriander.
Serve hot with coconut and ginger chutney.
